Bald Eagle in Forest Park

We were headed home after visiting the history museum, when Anne spotted this bald eagle in a tree above the Norman K Probstein golf course, near the clubhouse. That would be the golf course in the northwest corner of the park. I’ve seen one bald eagle in the park before. It was on the wing. This is the first time that I’ve been able to get a photo of one in Forest Park. This cold winter has drawn the wildlife into the heat island of the city. We still have some open water in the park, mainly where the ducks and geese pool.
