Today was a beach day and what a day it was. Jane led the charge as we all stormed the beach and quickly established a viable beachhead in front of the cabin. All resistance was soon overcome and any further thought of chores was quickly and soundly defeated. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately we soon found ourselves pinned down in the sand. Occasionally, one brave soul after another would venture inland, and reconnoiter the cabin in search and rescue missions that were trying to recover key mission assets like lunch and beer. It was a long day. Dare I say the longest day? He held though, at least until supper, when we all retreated to dinner table.
