Male Red-breasted Merganser

Anne and I drove from Ann Arbor to the cabin today. The drive was uneventful. Jane came up for the day and helped open the cabin. We had the Cour-te-ways (that’s the Indian pronunciation) over for a pasta dinner. It was nice to be able to do a full tilt bogie meal. The male Merganser should be as proud of himself as he looks. Tomorrow morning’s post will show the mother Merganser and her brood. This post’s title is the result of my misreading of one of the labels on one od the drawers. I initially read “Beach Sex Toys”, but what was actually written was, “Six Beach Towels”. I could try to blame my eyesight, but I think that my mind might be the true culprit.
