Anne’s Dancing Leaves Quilt

Anne just finished this quilt. She had done most of the sewing a couple of weeks ago, when she went across the river for a weekend long quilt retreat. It was inspired by some dancing leaves that we saw at the end of last year. It was a blustery November day, when we walked up to Stratton’s at the Ritz-Carlton, in Clayton. The Ritz and the other buildings in this complex form a slotted cylinder, with a traffic circle in the middle. Their height funneled the wind in and had the leaves swirling around and around again.
