It warmed up to sixty today, before the temperature plummets back down to single digits tonight. Everybody and their brother were in the park today, enjoying this brief respite from this winter’s arctic vortex weather. Everybody except Anne that is, she left me home alone this weekend, while she retreated across the river to Illinois for quilting purposes. Like I said everybody else was in the park today. There were dog walkers, stroller mommies, families and kids. All these people were moving about on foot, by roller blades and of course by bike. Then there were the more unusual modes of movement, a pair of roller-skiers and one guy riding a unicycle. I’m back home now and am writing this post in shorts and a T-shirt, but all of my long underwear is clean and ready to don again tomorrow morning.
