Yesterday, Maren and Anne hung Wyatt’s new quilt together. While pregnant with him, Maren chose the theme Twilight Forest for his nursery. She applied the pictured birch tree decals on the bedroom wall. Independently, Anne quilted the also pictured birch tree wall quilt. Serendipity. They go very well together.

Also yesterday, Anne and I flew home. It was a full three-hour nonstop flight. Before takeoff, we each independently had a cup of New England clam chowder from Legal Seafood. First me and then Anne, who forgot to pay. The server later tracked her down, while she was sitting at the gate and charged her for her soup, but not for skipping out without paying. Making not too many legal difficulties.
