We Last night, we attended a dinner party at Britt’s parent’s house, Patty and Phillip. Her sister Clorinda was there too. Earlier, we had spent the day at the Brooklyn Museum with Dan. At the museum we saw this marvelous artwork called the dinner party. Pictured above with its writeup below. Supper started at eight and ran to almost midnight. Pretty wild!

Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party is an icon of 1970s American feminist art, and one of the most important artworks of the twentieth century. The installation celebrates the achievements and lives of 1,038 historical and mythical women while paying tribute to all women whose stories have been lost to history through erasure or suppression.
