We did not ride on Sunday, instead we got out on foot. It was hot out, so, we drove to the De Mun neighborhood, which is Forest Park adjacent. We made a quick stop at Kaldi’s to get some iced coffee and then from there walked through Kennedy Forest to the SLAMer. It was the last day to catch, Art and Imagination in Spanish America, a visiting show created by the LA County Museum of Art (LACMA). While not being my favorite art subject, it was still a well-produced show. Anne bought a postcard that depicts the above pictured Virgin of Bethlehem for Harry. On the way back we happened upon an Indigo Bunting, a kind of finch that is bright blue, bluer than a bluebird. Returning to De Mun, we late light lunched at Barrio, one of our favorite De Mun restaurants.
