Tessa and Dan

Pictured are Tessa and Dan, all dressed up for a wedding last night. Two of Dan’s friends from Webster were tying the knot. Dan is looking his usual dapper self and Tessa described the look that she was going for as the wedding witch. Tessa almost didn’t make it. She was delayed 24 hours trying to get out of NYC. She ended up having to overnight in Minneapolis. Weather and Friday afternoon air traffic congestion were the twin culprits. Anyway, she made it in time and they then Ubered off.

Dapper Dan in the Flesh

Joanie treated me to a retirement dinner last night. That was very gracious of her. We went to Three Flags Tavern on Southwest, a very nice place. We first shared a basket of their delicious Lobster Beignets. They were to die for. I had their Flank Steak Salad and Joanie ordered a Strip Steak Special. Both meals were very good. We also shared a basket of fries. Thanks again Joanie! Things were pretty quiet around here today. A little recuperation was the order of the day and Tessa flies out tonight.
