Indy

On Saturday morning, we drove through the rain to Indianapolis and met Dave. We all enjoyed a nice lunch and just being together and then walked through more rain in White River State Park. It is a park like Forest Park in Saint Louis, complete with museums and a zoo too. The park adjoins the IUPUI campus or is that campuses? IUPUI stands for Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, which is quite a mouthful. While we were walking in the park, we kept getting buzzed by the Indiana State Capital Police, which also seems too wordy. I guess we looked suspicious. Afterwards, Dave headed back to West Lafayette, but we had a room, so after he left town, we went exploring again. It was Saturday night and the town was hopping. There were also a lot of costumed people around. I felt under dressed. Comic Con was going on. We also saw prom queens and drag queens (10K race) and American ninjas too, or at least the remains of this reality TV show’s set. We walked around the Wholesale District for hours taking in all the sights. After a late supper, we watched Barry do standup and then called it a night.
