Love Is Blinds

And now, so are the neighbors too. Anne and I have successfully installed all five of our top-down / bottom-up blinds and they look fantastic, although not as vibrantly yellow as they appear to look in the above photo. Ordering them online and doing the installation ourselves saves us more than half the original quoted cost, but the work wasn’t as easy as the ten-minute instructional video on YouTube that we first watched, led us to believe. It took us most of Saturday afternoon to get the first one installed, but a trip to the hardware store and a little retooling allowed us to knock out the remaining four blinds in successively faster times. I still couldn’t say that we had reached the ten-minute mark by the end of this project, but maybe after a few more windows, we would have.
