It really was a pretty nice campsite, especially since we didn’t have to share it with anyone else. It was just me and my babes. We setup our tent on the rather expansive deck provided, which was a real bonus. The pictured rock outcrop barely captures the extent of grotto that we camped in, not to impugn the beauty of Anne’s photo. These limestone rock formations are endemic to this southern Illinois region. I just wish that it hadn’t been so fricking cold that weekend.
