Pink Water Lily and Dragonfly

I enjoyed a much deserved day off today, even if I do say so myself. You see, I had to work yesterday. I saw the Perma-Bear there and he had to gasp when he saw me working overtime. “What are you doing here? These are supposed to be your salad days”, he exclaimed. It has been a grueling workweek. The battle rhythm at work has been beating with an ever-increasing tempo as of late and none of this was helped by starting this last workweek exhausted from a marathon drive back from the cabin. So, I took the day off and forgot about work for a while. I rode in the park until it got too hot. I snapped a few pictures too. The polar vortex is supposed to arrive in town tomorrow, to cool things off. Rey is due in town tomorrow too.
