We left Malden this morning. Everything was icy. First, Maren and Anne ran the boys to daycare. After 4 days with the Fam everyone needed a break and the children are too young for booze. I started driving and just kept going. About four hours worth. All above freezing, all in the rain, limited visibility, lots of traffic, very slow traffic. Four hours and only made the NY state line. Fortunately after we switched drivers the clouds parted, the sun came out and Anne put the pedal to the metal. At Scranton, I was ready to throw in the towel and temp in an Office. It did not help that a few miles later when we passed Mifflinville. We pressed on to sunset and checked into a resort hotel. We’ve come a long way and have longer to go tomorrow. There maybe a late start, because there is a local Jim and Pam marathon on tonight.
