It was fun watching last Saturday’s Michigan football game with Jane. She is such the ardent fan. Her passion and fervor are contagious. Going into this game Michigan was the heavy favorite. The visitors, New Mexico, though did not get that memo. After surrendering an early lead to Michigan, New Mexico kept the game close. Maybe too close. Had the ghost of Appalachia State managed to sneak into the Big House? Jane was getting nervous, but no worries, man. Her team pulled a fine victory out by the end.
The day after we were in Ann Arbor. Because the Zilwaukee Bridge was not closed for construction that day, we sailed south, arriving too early at our hotel for check-in. They were still reeling from their 178 football guests and needed more time to get our room ready. No worries, man. We headed over to Gallup Park for a walk and then when Harry got back to his room, we went to visit him.
