Last evening two sloops pulled into the bay just before sunset. They both parked offshore from the cabin and then stayed the night but were gone by morning. Marine Traffic showed them already locked through in the Soo.

Besides the usual errands and chores today’s big event was Cooper’s second Zoom meeting. Following last month’s organized telecon, today’s meet included our fourth high school droog, Ned. All told, there was Cooper, Armin, Ned, Mark and Anne on the call. We spoke for more than an hour, until my phone’s battery was about to give out. With Coop as our MC, the conversation covered the gambit of topics, family, friends, work, wargames, D&D and health. This will not be a one-off event, but something that we will regularly revisit in the future.
