Our plans for this holiday season have shaped up nicely.  Anne and I will head east to Boston for Thanksgiving. Maren, David and Declan will host us for this gathering. After the holiday proper, Dan and Britt will come up from NYC and join us. This will be about a two-week road trip, with a planned initial excursion to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, weather permitting. Our trip east will have to dance around the forecasted first winter storm. Cuyahoga, an environmentally reclaimed park that recently made a list of best wintertime national park. It would be great to arrive there just after a newly fallen blanket of snow has fallen.

But wait… There’s more. Maren, David and Declan will fly to the Lou, where we will host them for Hanukkah and Christmas. Hanukkah actually begins this year on Christman Day. You have got to love those lunar calendars. First Dan and eventually Britt will also join us in town. Giving us another full house.
