There are cats all over Croatia. Apparently, kitty birth control is not a thing there. Many appeared feral. One village that we rode through had very emaciated cats. While another village had half-a-dozen trays of food laid out for their cats. One greeted us at the front door to our hotel in Jelsa. This door was a motion sensing automatic door. This cat sat just outside the door, after opening it, “Yes, I opened this door.” “No, I don’t want to go through the door.” Except it changed its mind later when Aimee and I returned with Anne’s dinner. It followed into our hotel room, before being chased back out again.
