Pictured is one of our biking compatriots along a particularly bad section of road. Fiber was being laid and a trench had been dug down the middle of the road. This left us with only a narrow path, between this ditched and the sea below.. Too narrow for me. I lost control and rode across this ditch. Fortunately, my wheel crossed the ditch perpendicular and I did not fall in. This was near the end of yesterday’s ride, our penultimate day on this bike tour. Today, the final day of the tour was easier. It seems to meur guide seems to have resorted to euphemisms to sugarcoat our route. The most popular one was undulations of rolling hills. The next most popular one was inclination or a climb. We met both these descriptions with determination.
