Thanksgiving is behind us, and November is almost gone too. I think that ignoring any further the approach of this holiday season smacks too much of bah humbuggery. Consequently, on my guard, I am ever alert now when I go shopping for sounds of the Little Dummer Boy playing on the PA system. We have begun putting up decorations. Anne put up the inside lights and I put up the outside ones. It was such a warm pleasant afternoon that I did this while wearing shorts. A neighbor across the street does outdoor lighting, as his van announces. He has a nice professional display and I tried to imitate him. This took longer than expected. It seemed that most of the neighbors were outside enjoying the weather too. Anne was making a new batch of stockings soon to be hung with care. In the evening, we went to the gardens and saw their annual Glow show. We got there early. Lots of good pictures were taken. Because of the weather it was crowded, but even more so when we left. On the way home there was a nearly full moon rising from a cloud bank. We should have stopped to take its picture.
