Yesterday, we made a down payment of what will eventually be the big bucks for a trip to Costa Rica next year. This trip will be a continuation of what has become a winter tradition, snowbird season. We began this tradition with road trips to Florida, followed by a flight to the Virgin Islands. Then Covid hit and we haven’t traveled like this since, but next year we’re game to give it go again. We picked Costa Rica, because it seems the safest of Central American countries. Because of the language difference, we are taking a tour. Road Scholar, formerly known as Elder Hostel, will be our guide. The tour is for eight nights and nine days and mainly centers around the country’s national parks. We expect to take lots and lots of bird pictures on this trip.
