Tuesday, Election Day, Anne worked her favorite polling place, the elementary school. She left the house at five and didn’t return home until eight some fifteen hours later. It was a long day, made all the longer when she had to share her official election duties with a certain representative of the other party. That women had her undies all in a bunch after she learned that this elementary school had switched over to unisex bathrooms. She was not mollified by the fact that each stall had a “hermetically” sealed door that nearly ran from floor to ceiling. She was in such a snit about this bathroom situation that Anne decided not to tell her about the trans kids in the school.
