Partings

As quickly as everyone came together, so too did everyone depart. The bride and groom left for their honeymoon and one-by-one all of the wedding guest also departed. Dan is driving back to NYC today. This evening, Anne and I took Dave to the airport in Canada. This necessitated passing through customs twice, Canadian on the way out and US on the way back. There were no incidence of border rudeness, from either side, unlike our last set of border crossings. I was a little concerned, what with the orange menace busy trying to formant hostility with our friendly neighbor to the north. I hope that this remains the case, because I have to make another Canadian airport run tomorrow. Anyway, it was a beautiful wedding, but any wedding could be a fairy tale wedding if you serve porridge and release three angry bears into the reception hall.
