Bay Mills Fireworks
We went to the beach, to watch the fireworks across the bay and even with sparklers in both hands, their smoke was not enough to fend off the mosquitos. We couldn’t last through to the finale. We did last until the end at Dashi’s annual 4th of July potluck. I brought my carrot salad, which did pretty well. We came home with lots of leftovers, but this crew should make short work of them. It was a hot day and to cool off and clean up for the party, I bathed in the lake. So, I guess you could say that it was like bathtub water, but I’ve been alone in voicing this opinion and my demo of next to godliness hasn’t attracted any disciples.

We refused to celebrate the 4th this year. Not with kids in metal cages.
Our internet is (somewhat) working, for now, but is very finicky. Still waiting for the big repair.
