A Pair of Porpoises

The photograph is from St. Pete’s Beach. We had talked about going porpoise watching there, but time did not permit. Instead, we just hung out on the beach. The tour boat came out of the neighboring St. John’s Pass and began trolling for porpoises. Using the boat and its shifting crowd of tour goers, I was able to spot the occasionally breaching porpoise. Even though they are a little small, they were a couple hundred yards off shore, I did get the above picture of them.
