I enjoyed this movie. It was exciting. It was way nerdy too. The film made me laugh, but it also made me cry. I must admit that I cried anytime Carrie Fisher came on-screen. I cried many times during the movie. So, shut up.
Forty plus years ago, I saw the original Star Wars movie in college. Three years later, I was here in Saint Louis and because back then I was working nights, me and some of my colleagues caught the opening morning matinée of The Empire Strikes Back. I’ve seen every other movie from this franchise in theaters too. I guess that you could say that I’m a fan, maybe even a super-fan.
I agree with the general consensus that this is the second best Star Wars. Empire being the best. Still, as a purported super-fan there is still a lot to fully process.
May the Force be with you.

We were going to go see it but it got pretty bad reviews from the public (on Rotten Tomatoes). Tomorrow we are going to see Wonder.
Most of the reviews that I saw were favorable.
We went to see the movie today and thought it was great. There were tears and laughter and I thought the combination of old and new was handled perfectly.
Me too!!!
