Anne and I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is a jewel. It is easily the best aquarium that I’ve ever been to and I’ve seen quite a few. Pictured is the museum’s largest exhibit, the million-gallon Open Sea tank. We made it in time for feeding, where squid or calamari are thrown into the water. Do you know what the difference is between squid and calamari? About six buck on the menu. We spent almost five hours at the aquarium or until my camera battery died. I think that we saw everything. Afterwards, we strolled up and down Cannery Row, looking at all of the curious shops. Later, the four of us dined at Rio Grill in Carmel Valley, where the food was very tasty.

One of my favourite aquariums too! Along with Aquaria in Stockholm and Kaiyukan in Osaka. It’s difficult to choose between them because they are all quite unique!
I’ll have add those other two to my places to go
I’ve only been there once and loved it! I spent a lot of time at that same display and got to see a bait ball of small fish form. So cool.
We caught the feeding too. This shot is from later.
