It’s All Good in Maplewood

The picture with this post is of a graphic on a t-shirt that we bought for Dan. It is made by a local t-shirt printing shop called Tiny Little Monsters, which is based in Maplewood. We bought it for him, almost on a lark, because while he is living far away in LA, we want him to have something that helped him remember home. While Dan grew up next to Maplewood, he went to school and graduated from high school in Maplewood. Plus, after he moved out of the house, his first apartment was in Maplewood. About the time that he was leaving town for LA, everyone began to appreciate Maplewood for the cool and happening place that it really was. It has since become quite the hipster hangout. So much so that it has driven up property values to the point that I’ve heard some of the younger engineers at work complaining about these hipsters preventing them from being able to afford to buy in Maplewood.
