I am thankful for my family, for my sons, for my wife, for my extended family and for my friends. I am thankful for my health. I am thankful that I still have a job. It could be worse, as I just heard thanks being given on the radio (hopefully just as a joke):
I am thankful that my daughter’s boy friend has agreed to marry her before the baby is due. I am thankful that my wife has just agreed to go to counseling with me. I am thankful that my son will be out of jail by Christmas.
This post is called Sole Mate, because that is what Anne stitched into the sole of the socks she made for me. They were featured in a post from last August. Now that it has cooled off enough, I can wear them when I take my Soul Mate out on the town.
Anne has been busy knitting Christmas presents this year and has completed them all, except for a last minute request from Dave. She plans on going to the yarn store tomorrow, Black Friday. She claims that she won’t be in line at four AM, because the yarn store doesn’t open until eleven.
OBTW, I got 25 miles in today, but more about that later.
