CN Tower

Anne in Front of CN Tower

Today, we left Rochester and the rest of the States and went to Canada. It was a warm sunny day, with temperatures in the high eighties. We had driven to the border using backroads, first because Google had guided us that way, but second, because Anne likes this kind of driving and she was doing the driving. We got to the hotel early, but they let us check in early, for a small fee. We left the car with the valet and checked out our room, which was something else. Pretty fancy.

Hitting the street next, we went hunting for lunch. Found an Indian soup place and had a great lunch. After lunch, we head down to the lake and walked around. The Blue Jays are out-of-town while we will be in town. Every venue along the lake was slammed. We headed to the tower, got tickets and then went to the top, all 112 floors worth.

There was quite a view. Having walked around beforehand, we got a totally different perspective on what we had just seen. I enjoyed a beer up there.
