I am living the lifestyle of the rich and famous again, I’m back in Monterey. While Chris heads out on vacation, Anne and I are here to fill-in for him. Later, we will be hosting Jay and Carl on this trip, but in the meantime, it is sell-sell-sell. The house is sold, but that still leaves all of the furniture and art. Our decor is primarily midcentury modern, which everyone seems to want. There is also a sizable collection of Asian stuff. That might be harder to market. I have been trying to sell some of these things myself, using a website called AptDeco, but it has been slow. It is time to hire some pros. We have appointments arranged next week with two different dealers. Plus, with the house now sold, the buyer and our realtor both want to buy some of this stuff too.
