Anne and I visited Roy Electric today. We spent half-an-hour speaking with Anita, the office manager. She explained to us that she cannot schedule our electrical work but can only present it to her boss. This is the same story that she told me last week. A couple of hours later though she called us and gave us instructions for applying for the service upgrade with the electric company and then scheduled us an appointment with her “boss” for tomorrow afternoon. Who or whatever could have wrought this sea change? It is a mystery! And the mystery’s name is Anne. He is coming to the cabin to see what’s what. Cloverland accepted our application and will bill Harry the $25 fee. There is still a lot more to do, but with Anne in the driver’s seat I can now see it happening and sooner rather than later.

Still no progress on fixing bathroom’s vanity fluorescent light. We got an LED bulb and watched a YouTube video or two, but when we opened the hood, wires just started falling out. Our ballast has twice the number of wires in the mix as any in the videos did. We quickly backed away and since we have a licensed electrician scheduled for tomorrow, I said let’s punt.
