Yesterday, President Cheeto signed another one of his bogus executive orders. This one is aimed at the Smithsonian with the intension of doing to it what he has already done to the Kennedy Center. That is dumb it down, by eliminating “DEI” shows like say, Hamilton, in favor of real American programing like Kid Rock. We have recently returned from Washington after having visited both the Smithsonian’s African American History Museum and the American History Museum. Both museums are at the epicenter of this executive order. Because they do not celebrate Cheeto’s view of American history. Don’t get me wrong, I love my country. I am mostly proud of the US, but as we strive to create a more perfect union the first step has to be to realize where we have made mistakes. Like, little thing, like Slavery! Cheeto views these beliefs to be nothing more than ideology, as in “improper”, “corrosive”, “divisive”, “race-centered”, “partisan” ideology. So much for the 1st amendment. Are we great yet? This attack on the Smithsonian is merely preamble to next year’s quasquicentennial (225th). Cheeto wants to make this red, White and blue anniversary great too.
