After a four-year lapse, Sunday, we got back on our bikes. In 2020 with Covid bearing down on us, we decided to put our bicycles away for the duration of the pandemic. We did not want to risk any trips to the ER at that time. Now, with the epidemic is over, except for a dystopian few, we swung our legs over the bar and headed to the park. We are on a mission from God; in October, we will cycle the Dalmatian coast. This ride was a modest start, but we completed it without injury and got home before the rain hit, win-win. The ride that we did is equal in milage to the Croatian tour’s first day of riding, if not its climbing elevation. Yet, we still have six more months to train.
