Here we see a simple story that is repeated endlessly, every day in the NYC subway. A sequence of scenes in a comic strip format shows the passing of time from multiple viewpoints. The life cycle of the subway is shown by the artist Jillian Tamaki through quick snapshots: entering the station, passing time, then boarding the subway car. The cycle repeats with every train. This strip won a contest held by the Metropolitan Transit Authority. Its reward was being placed as an overhead placard on various subway trains throughout the system.
