The gardens are opening their new visitors center this weekend. As members, we received an invitation to a members-only unveiling tomorrow, but because of Covid, entry to the gardens is still ticketed and they were already sold out. So, we went yesterday instead. Workmen were still feverishly working on the new visitor’s center, and it seemed doubtful that it would be finished in time. Even if the building is done, there is still a lot of landscaping that still needs to be done. This new visitor’s center replaces the previous one that was only forty years old, but the number of visitors to the gardens has quadrupled since it was built, and it was deemed too small for the task going forward. Anyway, we had a nice visit seeing all of the garden’s familiar sights. It was a beautiful summer’s day. We’ll come back again after all of the hubbub has died down.
What a perfect combo
Thank You!
