Yesterday, these pictured socks arrived in the mail. They were a gift from Evelyn. This gift launched a furious Internet search, where I was able to secure several more pairs of these socks. One pair is coming from as far away as Singapore, but considering that they were made in China, maybe that isn’t such a stretch. These socks are a product of a company called Two Left Feet and are currently discontinued, but with Evelyn’s help I think that I managed to buy up the world’s remaining stock. Their significance goes beyond their name, because for Maren and David’s first date they went to a bar in Boston that featured axe throwing as an entertainment. Now I just have to sit back and wait for my orders to arrive from around the world.
