We made it to OK City. Not as many miles as the day before, but a relatively sleepless night in Albuquerque left us tired even when we woke up. Probably caused by too much PM coffee. Tomorrow should be even easier, more familiar and will end with us once again sleeping in our own bed, our new bed. It will be 39 days and nights on the road. A little below par for these western excursions and not quite forty days in the desert. Although, we did see this one guy. At first we thought that he was a cyclist, because cycling is permitted on the interstates out west, but no. This guy way lugging a cross up Sandia Mountain. Headed east like us, we had about 150 miles to go before he hit the Texas state line. I wonder then if the wooden cross that he was carrying would transform into a petrified Cruz?
