This week is Holy Week in the Christian religion. It is also Passover in the Jewish faith. I just discovered that today is Holi in Hinduism. A few years ago, we were visiting London at about this time of year. Walking, we came upon a city park that had been covered in dyes of many colors. It was the aftermath of a celebration of Holi, which is a spring festival. It is a happy holiday that is most distinctly marked by celebrants throwing handfuls of different colored dyes in the air and at each other. We didn’t witness any of this, only the aftermath, as pictured. It would have been a sight.
