Dog Spot

The Boulevard is an upscale shopping center situated across the street from the Galleria. It is an open air mall, where my eye doctor has his office. I was there to pick up new eyeglasses. It is where I spied this Dog Spot kiosk. It is billed as a safe haven for your dog, while you go into a place where they are not allowed. With the Dog Spot there is no more leaving your dog tied up outside on the street or left in a hot car, although, all of the Boulevard’s parking is covered. I’m not a dog owner, so I cannot guess how popular this service will be. The Boulevard is a rather hoity-toity venue, so if it is an idea that catches on anywhere, this would seem to be a good place to start.
