Florida Gar

It was a pretty easy day today. We slept in and left Ft. Myers Beach late. We did a little mileage north, before we arrived at St. John’s Pass. The afternoon was a beach day. This one was way less crowded than the last one. We saw dolphins dancing off the coast, too far to be worth sharing pictures of them. Instead, I’ll share these two gars, who posed for us, up close and personal. Tomorrow, we leave the sunshine state and depart to Atlanta, where we’ll meet Sam and JCB. Winter is coming, coming back for us.
