Torch Ginger in the Climatron

The Climatron is always warm and moist in the winter and cool and dry in the summer. It is always the anthesis of Saint Louis weather. This flower seems aptly named. It looks like some Polynesian torch. Today is cool, wet and windy up here on the shores of Lake Superior.
