Back on the Bike

We must have packed some of that California weather back, because the weather in Saint Louis has been gorgeously cool since our return. After work today, Anne and I took advantage of this fine weather and went for a bicycle ride. If you discount the few miles that we did in Yosemite, then this is the first time that we’ve been back on the bikes in over two weeks. It felt funny at first, but we quickly reacclimated. Friday evenings are usually quiet in the park and this ride was especially so. All the universities are out for the summer, so the usual throng of students was missing. We saw wood ducklings, egrets and a muskrat. Pictures to follow. We got 15 miles. Anne is seen wearing last year’s League of Michigan Bicyclist’s West Shoreline Tour jersey. We check the site, to see if space is still available and the photo for this tour features are friends Tom and Dawn. I wonder it Kelly took and then sent-in the photo?
