Phil, Mary, Anne and I rode 56 miles yesterday. We rode from Fish Creek to Washington Island. Well we actually took the ferry to the island. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, a great time was had by all, On the way up we stopped in Ellison Bay for a snack. We lunched on the island, whitefish. They were out of lawyers, to eat. Look it up. The island is a Swedish community, so some of the buildings had grass roofs and some of those roofs had goats. After lunch and the return ferry we saw a skinny fox sitting in the middle of the road. It seemed put out at havingto move for us. At Sisters Bay we found a most excellent pastery shop. We were tired last night and this morning, but we’ll do it all over again. This time we’ll head south.
OBTW, Michael Feldman, the NPR radio personality is playing in town on Saturday morning. We have aisle tickets
Are aisle tickets good or bad?
And I assume some of the pastries from the Sister’s shop are being express mailed as we write.
