When Anne was still working downtown at the Corps and the kids were in preschool at Martha Rounds, she would take I-44 to work. As she neared downtown she would look to her right to glimpse the brilliant white sculpture pictured above. After brunch today we went in search of it. It took a bit of doing since it was only accessible from a one way street that kept changing the direction of its one way. The sculpture is the centerpiece of Shaw Place, a one block court. Elaine Viets a former Post-Dispatch columnist and now mystery author wrote the The Pink Flamingo Murders. This mystery is set in a fictionalized version of Shaw Place.
