It has begun—Elliott, the much-ballyhooed winter storm is upon us. So far, light snow, some accumulation and lots of wind and cold. It is sure to get worse, before it gets better. In short it is a blizzard. Expect the storm to last 36-hours, before we get to its other side. We are only expecting a few inches, but that should be enough for a white Christmas. I hope that we do not lose power.
Dan made it home last night, just before midnight, driving all day and halfway through the night. He left NYC in the morning, and all too quickly burned through the shortest day of the year’s limited daylight. A new moon added little illumination. No light left, except from a parade of twin headlights stabbing at the dark. I am glad that he is safely home.
