The Slammer

Maren and David Inside Donald Judd’s Sculpture

The pictured Donald Judd artwork is my favorite place to pose guests in the Saint Louis Art Museum. This museum is locally also-known-as The Slammer.  Here is the museum’s picture of the same artwork from a different angle. I wasn’t sure if we were going to make it to the museum. It rained all morning, and no one seemed in a hurry to go out, but we did eventually make it. The show Art Along the Rivers didn’t interest anyone. So, we toured the museum’s collection instead, seeing pretty much all of the galleries. Britt landed, just a little late. It was six for dinner, which was mainly leftovers, except Anne made new turnovers. It was six again for breakfast at Roosters, but then Maren and David departed for points east. They managed to snag the other yellow dresser that had been sitting upstairs not really being used for some time.
