Ding! Feel free to move around the country. Today, the CDC announced that it was safe for vaccinated Americans to travel again. Being one such individual, I’m ready to hit the road. I’m in the mist of planning another one of our annual summer road trips out west. This year’s drive will feature the mother road, Route 66. Sights to be seen include Santa Fe, Flagstaff, Petrified Forest and the Grand Canyon. We’ll visit both Frank & Kathy and then John & Chris. Dave & Maren plan on flying on out to California to join us while we’re out there. Maren got her first shot last week and Dave got his yesterday, no fooling. Then we’ll rocket back home, like we did the last time we executed one of these cross-country adventures and then promised ourselves that we would never do that again. Oh well. We need to get home in time to host Rey, Becca and Corwin. Anne ordered a new bed today, so they won’t have to sleep on the air mattress. We will try to baby proof the place, but I’m sure that we will still have our hands full.
