Tom Turkey

Tom Turkey

Jane took and sent the above photo. This tom was displaying in Harry’s yard. Of late the service drive has been host to a whole rafter of turkeys. They used to see pheasants, but now the turkeys seem to have replaced them. Thanks, Jane.

Yesterday’s weather started out fantastic. It was warm almost eighty and we headed over to Forest Park for our daily constitutional, along with everyone else. We managed to avoid the crowds, by first circling around to the far side of the park, away from the zoo and then heading off to the empty quarter. Later in the day a front rolled in with some hail, but nothing too severe. Today is cooler.
