View from the Top

For the past few days, Jay and Carl have been hoteling it, down by the Arch. Jay confers, while Carl hangs with us. Her conference ended at noon today and we met them at the Arch, which is across the street from their hotel. It is the brown one, pictured front row, center-right. At the Arch, we did the whole enchilada, took the tram to the top, then looked down on everything else, watched the movie documenting the making of the Arch, one of my favorites, Monument to a Dream and toured the museum. I think we managed to cram just about as much Saint Louis history into our guest, as they could swallow.
